Is Your Estate Environmentally Friendly? 
                               Are you interested in speaking up about it?

An environmental awareness course aimed at local communities to get to grips with all the arguments and record in photographs and words what is happening where they live, work, shop and socialise. Different themes and practical activities for each day. e.g solar, wind, waste, water and transport.
the course will take place in a Downham Community Centre and a community garden TBA, 10.00am-3.30pm.

Objectives
·       To engage trade union learning and skills project workers, ULRs and other reps with unionlearn’s ‘green skills agenda’
·       To disseminate unionlearn’s ‘Stewarding the Green Skills Agenda’ report
·       To promote unionlearn’s ‘Green Skills Partnership’ model
·       To promote the activity of affiliates such as Prospect, UCU, UCATT and FDA
·       To support and encourage current Round 15 ULF projects to engage with skills for a green economy
·       To disseminate developing practice through filming speakers for presentation on the unionlearn website
